How does one identify what project is associated with a pre-1700 ancestor?

I've reviewed several pre-1700 ancestors. From reading project help pages, it is my understanding that pre-1700 ancestors are supposed to be associated with a project (true/false?).  If no project exists, can a sub-project be created associated with a specific individual?  Is there any way to determine what sub-projects might be in effect for a specific individual?  I'm relatively new to WikiTree but am sort of lost in the "project" maze after reading/researching help for a couple of hours.

Hello George,

Do you have the full name of the ancestor you are asking about? Would you have the birth year, marriage year and death year? What was the location of birth, marriage and death? Location can be country, county and city.

To answer your question, some pre-1700 individuals can be part of a project, but others are not.

The person I located in WikiTree is:

Zebulon Heston Sr 1670 Heston, Middlesex, England - 1720 Privacy Level: Open (White) Heston-95

Wow! Zebulon Heston Sr. is only 12 degrees from Henry VIII through one of Henry's wives, Anne Boleyn.
