How do I delete a person that I put in the wrong place?

You don't delete, you detach. Edit the profile, look for the incorrect connection, then remove it. It should say [add/remove (relationship)].

"delete" means something far more sinister and drastic to us. (we can't do that)

I believe you mean disconnect the relationships...

Just edit the profile, and on the right side, there are links to add/remove father/mother/siblings/children/spouse, etc.

Just click the appropriate link(s) and follow the instructions
