Is there any evidence that he had any?  No mention in Dorman or McCartney....
What are the Dorman and McCartney sources you mention?  I would like to review them.

Dorman, John F.  Adventurers of Purse and Person. Fourth Edition. Genealogical Publishing Co.Inc., Baltimore, Md. 2007.    This book set lists five generations of descendants for the109 people who came to Virginia between 1607 and 1624, survived the massacre, and had descendants.  The book has three volumes, I think only one is available digitally.

McCartney, Martha.  Virginia Immigrants and Adventurers, 1607-1635, A Biographical Dictionary.  Genealogical Publishing Co., Baltimore, MD.  2007  This is a listing by person of all the primary documents that she could find relating to the Virginia colony between 1607-1635.  It includes records found in both Europe and America, official records, land records, diaries, journals, and items in private collections.  The book is digitized, but not free.

The Jamestowne Society has a list of qualifying ancestors on their web site.  Their criteria are much broader, including some people who arrived throughout the 1600's, not just the earliest settlers.

Thank you so much!

Good morning, Geneology.com has a good amount of information on Thomas Farmer. Bedinger Family History on jamestown colony  stated that he lived alone .

Attached to Thomas' profile is a page From a book apparently called "Descendants of Thomas Farmer who came to Virginia in 1616. It admits lack of direct evidence but makes the case that the proximity of the land beteeen Thomas and Henry, the repetition of the name Thomas in Henry's line, and the lack of any other candidate for the father or grandfather of Henry led one professional genealogist to conclude that Henry must be son or more likely grandson of Thomas,

If Thomas Farmer had known/proven descendants he should be listed with them at the Jamestowne Society or in Dorman's "Adventurers of Purse and Person."  I would put the information with whatever led the genealogist to the conclusion as "Disputed Family" or research notes.
