Looking for the Parents of Jacob Christoffersen born 1819, Drammen, Norway?

Question

Jacob Christoffersen is my great great grandfather, born in 1819. The link is to his christening and birth. I am looking for his father Christoffer Andersen, born 1800, Eiker and his mother Marte Jacobsdatter. Also, what does “Warlof” mean at the end of Marte Jacobsdatter’s name.

1) How do you know the father was from Eiker or born 1800? He was living in Drammen in 1819, and I read his occupation as "pottemaker"

2) Warlof is an older spelling of the farm Varlo where she lived https://www.norgeskart.no/#!?project=norgeskart&layers=1002&zoom=11&lat=6638640.84&lon=212239.50&markerLat=6638587.512369791&markerLon=212545.38411458334&panel=searchOptionsPanel&sok=Varlo

It says Warlof Eie, so she lived at a cotter's place under Varlo, and the son was obviously born there.

The parents were not married.

If you have documentation that the father was born in Eiker around 1800, he could well be the Christoffer Andersen who was born at Kjemperud 15 Nov 1797 (https://www.digitalarkivet.no/kb20061220620277), confirmed 12 Apr 1812 (https://www.digitalarkivet.no/kb20061220620658) and married in Bragernes (Drammen) 14 Sep 1823 (https://www.digitalarkivet.no/kb20051125010520), but NOT to the mother of Jacob.

The 1800 birthyear for Christoffer Andersen comes from the 1801 Eiker Census see 217 .

Both Christoffer Andersen and Marte Jacobsdatter are referenced in the confirmation document 14 years after birth.

The 1801 census just says that there was a Christoffer Andersen who was 1 year old a Klunderud in Eiker. YOUR Christoffer Andersen was in 1819 said to be a potter in Drammen. The chuch record does not say where he was born. The confirmation record says Jacob lived at Lilleås. What it says about parents is normally a factual repeat of baptism record - also when a parent has died in the meantime or if the child was illegitimate. It does not mean that the parents were a couple in 1833, or living in Eiker.

(Klunderud is some distance away from Varlo and Lilleås)

If they were tenants or servants, they would have moved about, so focus on those two farms might not be very helpful.

In the 1801 census for the Torberg farm in Eiker there is a Christopher Andersen, 9 years old, in family 6 and a Marthe Jacobsdatter, 18 years old, in family 8 (https://www.digitalarkivet.no/ft20090806630635)

There is also a Marthe Jacobsdatter, 12 years old, in family 17 at Prestegården (https://www.digitalarkivet.no/ft20090806630679), but she was the Marthe Kirstine who was born 15 Oct 1788, confirmed 1804 and married 30 Aug 1812.

There are so few Jacobsen/-datter in the 1801 census in Eiker that I find it highly likely that your Marthe was the one at Torberg and fairly likely that your Christoffer Andersen also came from Torberg.
