Brent Scowcroft, son of Utah, died this week.  I started a profile for him and his father.  Anyone interested can help tie him to the Tree.  He is the son of James and grandson of immigrant, Heber Scowcroft.

Help connect him.

Aside from connecting him to someone in England -- think Heber was from there -- there may be connections possible on the American side through marriages -- I have not looked at this route, just looked at the Snowcroft side and it's Heber from England to Utah, then his James' b. Utah, then Brent b Utah

Wives now, some of those perhaps, but Ellen Pingree was born in Utah but her parents were from England.

In short Brent is only a 3rd generation American and from the looks of it, 3rd gen on mother's and father's side both

Brent Scowcroft is connected to the world tree through his daughter, Janice, marriage into the Hinckley clan.

Jo, I don't show this daughter, only daughter, Karen. He was also survived by a granddaughter, none not known. Does connection work through a living person?
False alarm - on Brent, but I was able to connect his father, James, to the world tree.  His daughter, Janice, married a Hinckley whose ancestors are connected.
Yes, I realized that you meant sister, not daughter.
