Advice before editing this pre-1700 Clark profile?

I have information to contribute to the profile of Solomon Clark. This is what I can add:

  • Son of Solomon Clark and Ann Eggleston: Solomon Clark Jr.

These are the sources I am using:

  • "Connecticut Births and Christenings, 1649-1906", database, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:F74F-B3V : 7 January 2020), Solomon Clark, 1725.
  • "U.S., Sons of the American Revolution Membership Applications, 1889." 1970 for Asahel Clark https://www.ancestry.com/imageviewer/collections/2204/images/32596_242099-00103?indiv=try&h&db. Accessed 8 Aug. 2020. (Do not have access to Ancestry.com at this time)

Should I contact one of the pre-1700 projects or know about any style guidelines before proceeding? Thank you!

Clark genealogy source mentioned in Solomon's profile has the Wife Ann and  children Mentioned in page 43, so that is another source to be used when creating the sons profile.

Clark genealogy pg 43

His family with his wife and children is later in the book, pg 56-57.

Births source is clearly this family and I don't see an existing profile. I think you have the information to add the child.

Looking at the DAR site and the SAR Patriot site I found 3 Solomon Clark records but they are not for Solomon born 1725. They are all for people born later, so possibly his son or later or other people. The Clark genealogy shows many Solomon Clark.
