Is there a template option to create URLs from FreeBMD records?

FreeBMD creates a nicely formatted link for sources that looks like this

{{Cite web|url=https://www.freebmd.org.uk/cgi/information.pl?cite=UFYVa%2BKGB7GJrl3SJDWT%2Fg&scan=1|title=Index entry|accessdate=10 August 2020|work=FreeBMD|publisher=ONS}}

The provide 2 options for their records

1. The link format above

2. a URl that often breaks, possible related to the scan=1 appended to the end. I typically add when I last accessed the URL to the end of my URL, but with the format they provide, when a user clicks on my link it returns an error message. This is an example of a URL that I have in a profile

[https://www.freebmd.org.uk/cgi/information.pl?cite=cnEmhR0zij4oOhYwQopBEQ&scan=1 accessed 8 Aug 2020]

But when I click on the link it directs to

https://www.freebmd.org.uk/cgi/information.pl?cite=cnEmhR0zij4oOhYwQopBEQ&scan=1%20accessed

==========

Their 2nd option {{Cite web|url=https://www.freebmd.org.uk/cgi/information.pl?cite=UFYVa%2BKGB7GJrl3SJDWT%2Fg&scan=1|title=Index entry|accessdate=10 August 2020|work=FreeBMD|publisher=ONS}} has so much information already included that it would be great if we could leverage the work they've already done, and just cut & past it into our profiles.

If this is as "clear as mud" please let me know and I'll try to do a better job of explaining.

Thanks,

Loralee

I'd love to be able to copy and use it to add a profile.

Since all that FreeBMD displays are GRO references, why not use that information (I think maybe there's an app which creates this), i.e.

England & Wales birth registration: Sculcoates [district], Volume 5b, Page 123, September quarter 1902, mother's maiden name BRIGGS [accessed via FreeBMD, 21 June 2020]

FreeCEN and FreeREG already offer the option to create citations in Evidence Explained format. I'm pretty sure that it won't take too much longer before FreeBMD does the same.
