Could Burial Site information be entered?

In which field do I enter he burial site?

In addition to what Kevin said - if you have no date for the death, but one for the burial, then you enter the date you have in the data field for death, and mark it as "before".  Be sure to explain the situation in the biography text, however, so the casual reader is aware it is not the actual date of death.

Just to be clear, are you asking how to enter the cemetery or how to enter the plot number in the cemetery?  I use the category system to record cemetery names. I have not been putting in plot locations but I would do that on the biography. It could also be done on the cemetery free space page but I don’t have a good way to present this clearly.

The text section of the profile is where you tell the story (and provide your sources). Think of the data fields as an index to the profile; they are not the body of the profile.

Hi Ted!

There isn't a field for burial site, but what you can do is use the cemetery category.

Just above the Biography section, there are edit buttons - one of them is for Categories. Click that and type the cemetery name (or part of it) into the search bar.

If the cemetery you need doesn't show up, it might not have a category created for it yet. You can then request the category be created. If you have any problems, come back here to G2G and post for assistance; make sure you use the "cemeteries" tag!
