This lady, with an unusual two first names, was born and married in Lanark but died in Dunfermline on 17 Aug 1602. Her husband, with an unusual two first names, was also born and married in Lanark and he died on exactly the same day as his wife, but 70km away in his native Lanark.
All of this, apart from being unusual, is completely unsourced. There is also no evidence for Janet's parentage, or indeed any evidence that her claimed parents had a daughter of that name.
As a minimum, I'd suggest she is unlinked from the alleged parents. What do the Scotland experts think?
