That makes sense, i think, because that collection only goes up to 1960, i think, and you have seen him getting on a boat and going back across the pond in 1958...

I see that his mother's address in Belfast is included in his Military records

Definitely confirms the three children.  The youngest only 1 week old when he was called up.

sent an message via Ancestry to someone who had soldier in their family tree, response 

Yeah it's my brother's gf's family, I sent the article to her and her dad is on his way to pick up the bible now
