Connection Combat Coke vs. Pepsi (Pemberton vs. Bradham)

No, we're not talking about the blind taste test here. This week's Connection Combat is between the inventors of the two biggest cola drinks in the world:

John Pemberton (Coke)

vs.

Caleb Bradham (Pepsi)

Oops...I did it again.

It appears that I have connected John Pemberton to AJ. I have one concern about the connection though, Many sources state that John is decended from John Pemberton and Rebecca Clifford who are also the parents of John Clifford Pemberton. The one weird part is that John was born in Georgia, his father James Clifford Pemberton supposedly was born in North Carolina in 1803, John Clifford was the second child of the family and was born in 1814 in Phildelphia. This makes me a bit skeptical regarding the origins of John. I will update when I find more.

I am even more doubtful of his grandparents being John and Rebecca (Clifford) Pemberton as they were married in 1812 and James was born in 1803 (in North Carolina as well).

Rats - I might have done my last change after the update time. We'll give it till tomorrow. There are only 3 relatives to reach a connection, so I'm sure this will work. It's his aunt with the last name of "Cooper" who's already connected. Fingers crossed...
