John and Jane Smith's Residence: Brooke Wood

During my extensive research into Jane Prather Smith, I discovered many properties in Prince George's County, Maryland during the late 1600s with names involving spelling variations of Brookewood. After analyzing them, I determined that John Smith and his wife Jane (widow of Jonathan Prather) lived at Brooke Wood, not Brookewood as has been commonly referenced by earlier researchers. I've created a document that explains this. https://www.wikitree.com/photo/pdf/McKay-479-1

Kenneth Shelton suggested that I share this with others who are interested in John of Mattapany Smith (Smith-224610) and his wife, Jane Prather Smith. I hope to update Jane's profile soon with all that I've found regarding her, supported by sound documentation.
