There are several references to Edmunde Cartledge or Edmund Cartledge in Church of England Parish Records of the period for Dronfield, Derbyshire, England but dates are all over the place.  Seems likely there were multiple Edmunds there.  Can someone please suggest other data sources for the area to cross reference?

The Derbyshire record office has many records that are either difficult to find on line, or are not available on line. You can search on their website, it is not a simple process.

Though having said that I did find accurate and complete information about my 4 X grt grandfather through them.

Prior to that I had  looked unsuccessfully for him everywhere for 7 years, and had decided that he must have been beamed down from another planet.

They will provide pdf copies of original records, you have to pay for them and call them directly to organise payment
