Hi, this is my first post. I'm researching the family tree of a friend for a Birthday present. I have successfully got back to James Fairweather, bap 28 June 1800 at St. Vigeans Angus, occupation Cooper, who married twice in Liverpool (1) Catherine Foster in 1821 (2) Catherine Molly in 1854. His parents were John Fairweather (a Gardener) who married Margaret Low in St. Vigeans on 19 June 1794 (and again in her parish of Guthrie). I'm stuck because on Scotland's People there are several baptisms for John Fairweather's in Angus around the right period. Would love to hear from a member who knows who John's parents were.
