Did your grandmother's husband have the Bauman surname? If you have the full names of some of your Bauman ancestors, aunts, uncles, etc. and their birth, marriage and or death date, it could improve the liklihood of finding additional relatives.

Geographic information can help too. Do you have the city, county, and or state where your known relatives were born, married etc.?
All I have for sure is my grandmothers parets and grandparents. Anyhting else Ive gotten online from family trees and Im not confirming those without proof.

Lillian Elizabeth Bauman b. Evansville Ind 1905 d. Kankakee IL 1988  She took care of her siblings and father when her mother d. of measles and flu in 1931. Her father d. 1948. They moved from Ind. to So. IL (my parents and grandparents moved from Union Co IL in 1956/57 to Kankakee IL for jobs)

her parents: William Richert Bauman  b. 1873 Henderson Co Ky d. 1948 Union  Co IL
