Nick, I'm not such I understand your term "ingest." Do you mean import a particular record that supports for research, import a complete factual database, or import a family tree?
I am with Ancestry.com and wd like up upload their data file into wikitree.

Thanks

You can export a gedcom file and import it into wikitree but most people recommending that you that with a small file until you have gone through the gedcom process.  You will have to 'compare' each profile in your gedcom file to wikitree so that duplicate records are not added to wikitree. You cannot start adding any records until you have 1st compared all the records.
