Linking DNA test

Question

I have added myself and the first 50 other people in my tree but, when I clicked on the select DNA test link, it says that it doesn't know my gender.  Despite me having added me, my profile doesn't show anything, except my name.  When I click on "Family Tree & Tools", it only shows me.  How do I link my DNA test and see my part of the tree so far?

You loaded a gedcom about 6 days or so ago -- and did you complete the process in gedcompare? There's multiple steps to that process and until all the steps are completed they won't show up on WT Help:GEDCOMpare

As far as I'm aware, I completed all the steps.  I checked and either rejected or accepted each suggestion and I clicked that I had finished each line.  It then allowed me to add individuals and I did that for myself and the next 50 people in the list.

How many people were in your gedcom? IF there were 50 and you did everyone then your tree should show up.

But if you have more than 50 people, you need to do the Gedcompare process for every single person before the tree can be "connected"

Hi Adrian,

When you go to your Profile, click on Edit. That should bring you to a screen where you can select your gender.

I realise that but the profile hasn't accessed ANY of the data that I added, which it certainly should have.  In addition, the family tree link doesn't show any of the 50 other people I've added.

It's taken quite a while but my profile and initial family tree are now populated so I'll carry on bit by bit with the other 975 people.  I'll even try again to add my DNA test as well.

Adrian, after adding your DNA test information, it will take 24 to 48 hours for your DNA information to populate the profiles of the ancestors you have added.
