I was born in South Africa and only emigrated to the UK three years ago. I have been doing my family tree since 2011 and have covered a lot. I do have three brickwalls on my mothers side. (Benn and Scott families).
1. Elizabeth Johanna CLAASSEN (1867-?) I have have her birth date from her baptism as an adult into the Catholic Church OUDTSHOORN, South Africa. Here parents are listed as Cornelius CLAASSEN and Susan Alice SWART. She is married to James Douglas Scott.
2.Jane JENSEN (1839-1874) Married to Alfred Boxold BENN in GRAHAMSTOWN. She has a brother Jens Morgens Julius JENSEN (1834-?) He married Susan DONNAHUE.
3. Frances BOXOLD (1807-?) married to Henry BENN. They were born in England and moved to South Africa. (The same family as Alfred Boxold BENN )
