Eddie Frisbie was, my dad said, his close friend who lived two house away. Since my father lived at 12 University Place in New Haven CT, I assume Eddie was at number 14 or number 10. My father has died and was born in 1923. His failing memory was able to give me Eddie's name without skipping a beat..Digging into a pile of old letters, I was astonished to find a 1944 Christmas card from and signed by ...Eddie Frisbie, confirming that my dad, Marshall Peck Jr, had a friend named Eddie Frisbie. The post mark is New Haven. My search is purely a sentimental one. Having a sense of who Eddie was would begin to complete the picture of those early years in New Haven. I am not sure how much any of this matters, however something calls from a distant place to care.

Any assistance in locating Eddie's particulars/family would be appreciated. I certainly do not want to bother anyone.  Thanks

Marshall H Peck III

I started a profile for Eddie so we can track what we find. I hope Marshall can be in touch with his descendants to share Dad stories!

I was able to connect Eddie to our global family tree through his Frisbie ancestors. I hope Marshall will want to connect as well. : )

The 1930 US Census has George A Frisbie working as a draftsman at an ammunition shop. Son George S age 18 is a block clerk at a bank.

And the family did live right around the corner at 4 University Place in 1930 and 1940. It looks like # 12 has been torn down?
