Hi Linda

You don't actually upload your raw DNA data to WikiTree. You add the kit number or member ID based on the DNA testing company (https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Special:DNATests). This allows others to compare their kits to you. See "Add a DNA test to your profile" (https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:WikiTree_Help:_Add_a_DNA_test_to_your_profile) for more information on adding your test.

If you upgrade and add profiles for your ancestors, it will take at least 24 hours for your kit number or member ID to show up on your ancestors' profiles. If it doesn't appear, make sure your Privacy is set to "Private with Public Family Tree" or "Private with Public Biography and Family Tree.

Hello Linda,

If you mean WikiTree, you don't actually upload your DNA to here. Please read the help files to find out how DNA is used here. It's a bit of a learning curve.

All the best, Christine
