When do profiles get managed by Admin Wikitree?

+5 votes
I have found some profiles of interest when doing gedmatching or creating new profiles.  I've noticed some that are orphans and when you go into the changes area you can sometimes find a profile manager who loaded the orginial gedcom. I try and contact them to see if they know more.  Sometimes when you click on that person, their profile manager has been taken ove by AdminWikitree.  Can someone tell me when they take over the profile, does it mean the original person who loaded the gedcom has left wikitree or is no longer active?  Is there any point asking any questions about the profile or are AdminWikitree as in the dark about them as I am.  I notice some people asking questions on the original persons profile but they seem to go unanswered so I'm thinking its not worth the effort.

I just saw this which answers the first part of my question http://www.wikitree.com/g2g/53497/wikitree-profile-manager-happens-profiles-individual-managed.  Still interested in the second part though

Veronica, I would suggest that posting a g2g question attached to the profile in question would be a better way of bringing attention to the profile than posting to the profile itself or contacting AdminWikitree.

You'd get more eyes on the question and even if we didn't know specifically about the person, one or more of us would probably do some original research to see what could be found.
