Is WikiTree showing the correct suggestion list results?

A profile I corrected is showing the same suggestion again.

Anybody else seeing this problem?

Did you remember to update the status to show that you corrected the error?

Shirley, is this what you are talking about?

Yes it is. Also you need to remember that the Suggestions list is only updated weekly, usually on Monday. In order to remove corrected suggestions from my list, I usually refresh the page so they don't show.
Yes, I refreshed the page after setting the status (on Aug 16) and it cleared it from the list.  But today I see the same suggestion back on the list, as if it didn’t check to see that the update had taken place. I don’t know what to do with the suggestion now.
I'd give it until next Monday's update. If it isn't gone by then, you might want to check with Aleš to see if there is a problem.
I will do that. Thanks.
Update ... the suggestion did clear the following week.

That is strange about that suggestion because the corrected should remove it. I just updated a suggestion and it is removed as it should be.  Add a tag of Ales so he can look at it.

The issue is that there is a small delay between the time the suggestions are checked and when the weekly lists are published. Any suggestion corrected during that time will still show in the lists even though there is a corrected status message.

It will clear on the next update if left or you could redo the corrected status if you desire.

If you mark a Suggestion as corrected, then look at the suggestions for that profile, it will be removed immediately, which is what Tommy and I both did.  If you look at the 'complete' Suggestions list for a number, those are static and will not change, but the Suggestions shown for a profile are updated immediately because they are linked to Wikitree +

Data dump is usually done on Sunday, around 14:00 GMT But it starts 10 hours earlier. That means edits from Sunday morning are not in the dump. You can see that in the suggestion report still being 1853 Owl Hill. I hide the corrected status until the next dump, but I can only have a fixed time for all profiles. I use 12:00 GMT for that. That reshows corrections done on Sunday morning.

So you will have to wait until Monday for suggestion to go away.

Sunday: 2:00 PM (14:00) GMT = 9:00 AM (9:00) CDT

10 hours earlier

4:00 AM (4:00) GMT = 11:00 PM (23:00) Previous Day CDT

So, my cutoff time for corrections to be part of the data dump is Saturday night at 11:00 p.m.
