In the 1860 census, Mary Beardsley, occupation "Lady" and in the same household as Nancy & Hiram Morse.

Birthplace on that census: NEW JERSEY. Commonly, her birth place is attributed to Rhode Island

Unable to locate her in the 1850 census

Mary Ann Chatfield was born and died in New York. As she was married to Jesse BEARDSLEE or BEARDSLEY c 1844

I agree that Mary Beardsley that was married to Ezra Beardsley was not the Mary Ann Beardsley that was married to Jesse Beardsley.

Mary, who was married to Ezra, is with her daughter and son-in-law (Marilla Nancy and Hiram Morse) in the 1860 census.

Still looking for Mary who was married to Ezra in the 1850 (when she would have been widowed).
