How do I add a profile that is locked and manager and comment has not responded

This was entered by me in December 2017 with erroneous information and it has been rejected as a merge. Could someone delete or merge with John Kirkpatrick - 210? I am not certified to add His parents Francis and Hannah Ward Kirkpatrick. Mary Jane Kirkpatrick is my ancestor who married William Walker in the home of Mary Jane and John Kirkpatrick. martin -40245.

I do not see any indication in the history that you ever proposed to merge another profile with Kirkpatrick-210. What is the ID for the profile you created?

The Kirkpatrick-210 profile is project-protected (although it currently does not have a project to protect it). Any member can edit the content of a project-protected profile for a post-1700 person, and if you made another profile for this person by mistake, you can merge your profile into the one that is protected. Project protection only restricts LNAB changes, changes to parents, spouses, and children, and merges that would merge the protected profile into some other profile.

The profiles of Francis Kirkpatrick and Hannah (Ward) Kirkpatrick are documented as being the parents of John Kirkpatrick.  Since they are already linked there is no action needed to add them.   Is there some evidence to indicate that the current parents are incorrect ?

The profile of  Francis Kirkpatrick is project protected by the SoCol Project however the profile of his wife, Hannah is open and not project protected.  The profile of your ancestress, Mary Jane Kirkpatrick, is also open and not project managed or protected.

I added the Southern Pioneers Project as co-manager of the profile of John Kirkpatrick until your issue can be resolved.  I  looked for merge proposals for John Kirkpatrick and found none pending. I also looked for potential duplicates and found no obvious duplicates for this profile.  

I looked for possible duplicates for Francis Kirkpatrick, father of John and found one that appears to be a duplicate.  I found no pending, rejected or postponed merges for Kirkpatrick-132
