All of the children's names are correct on this but I think that Grover Cleveland Weathers (my great grandfather) may have been born in 1883 since the 2 of the census after he was an adult show his age and would concur that 1883 is the correct birth date. Also, I know his wife's name was Mary Smith before marriage. My father who is still living knows the names of his grandparents and it is Grover and Mary. My father knows of no time that his grandfather lived in Missouri but that does not necessarily mean he didn't. Mary Florence Weathers died at a young age. James Arthur, Roy A., William Claude and Paul Lee are the boys names and the children of Grover Cleveland and Mary (Smith) Weathers.

smiley All to the good, heading toward a good set of profiles -- but do check and verify dates and places ... errors can and do occur ... it's rare for someone's dates and places to be 100% accurate as verified by the sources, there's usually a disagreement on at least one point of info ... aggravating but humans make mistakes

Thank you. And yes the dates can be erroneous. The census when Grover was a young boy said his birth year was 1887 but I think the later 2 census records and his draft record which all show his age that would confirm the 1883 date. Of course that's if he actually knew the correct date. My search so far show his birth was May 1883.

Thank you so much for your help.
