How do you merge family's I have tried and can't figure it out

Please don't continue moving people from one family into the other family.  That is not how a merge is done.

At the left bottom of the profile page you will see [initiate a merge]

Once you click on that you then enter the Wikitree ID of the other person that you would like to merge with. Then just compare the profiles and clock on merge them at the top of the page.

There was a rejected match with Howard-6125 which I have now removed. Is this the correct profile that you would like to merge with?

Those 2 families have a lot of duplicates - wife, child Edward has 3 possible profiles (just looking at those 2 families), Edward's wife, child Elizabeth,

Wife should be Unknown for last name, per the Find a Grave, which is where the entire biography on Howard-6125 is from.
