Where is the simplest explanation on how to add my Ancestry DNA to wikitree

Wikitree does not accept RAW DNA uploads.

Wikitree requires only your test details - the company, type of test and kit number - all of which you have already provided.

You do not need to do anything more.

The profile where you posted your question about DNA is not one that you have connected to yet. The profiles that already connect to you are showing your DNA information. Your DNA information cannot connect to a profile that does not appear in your family line.

I think my explanation is the simplest :) ...

Click on your Wiki-ID menu (Sherwood-4674), and choose DNA, click the DNA Test tab, then follow the instructions on the page.

I tried this for my husband (Watson-12725) but every time I click on a test it takes me to my Ancestry page! I did this for myself a while back but now find that my husband's DNS is missing. Thank you, Brenda

The thing is... WikiTree's privacy settings won't allow you to add DNA test results to anyone else's profile. That person needs their own account (unique email address from your own) to do it.

Register at GEDmatch.com and follow their directions to upload your AncestryDNA results there.  Then enter your GEDmatch ID at https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Special:DNATests

Doing so automatically associates your autosomal DNA and X chromosome(s) with your relatives in WikiTree.
