New member introducing myself

Good Evening,

I am a certainly a beginner at this and I would not label myself as a genealogist, but I am looking to understand where my family came from.  I have always know I was of mostly Acadian descent ( Pothier, LeBlanc, Amirault) and a bit Irish (Hubbard) but after DNA test I started to want to know more about where my ancestors came from.

Hello Kevin,

If you click on Find at the top right of this page, it will open a menu. By looking down the menu, you can click on Surnames. There are lists of individuals who are on record at WikiTree. Pothier has 1,243 people, LeBlanc 7,801, Amirault 303, and Hubbard 7,311.

There are lots of people her who like to answer posted questions. If you click on Ask a Question at the top of the page, you can ask what you would like find out more about.
