I have 3 questions:
One
There is in Wikitree's structure a category for Former Countries in Europe. The Holy Roman Empire is considered to be one of them and is listed in it's German, French and English version as a sub-category. In the Dutch or pre-Dutch speaking parts of Europe, however, the HRR was there over centuries as well a reality and was there, until 1581, the ruler for the total part of the Lower Countries. Is there a reason not to have a category "Heilige Roomse Rijk" and if so so, should we not create this category? In this category would be place for other sub-categories, which, I think, are alo missing:
- Graafschap Holland
- Prins-Bisdom Utrecht
- Hertogdom Gelderland
- ?Friese Vrijheid?
- and others
Two
In the category Voormalige Landen van Europa is the "Bataafse Republiek" mentioned as profile, but not as category. Should it not be created?
Three
The province of Limburg has been integrated into the "Koninkrijk der Nederlanden" in 1867. Is it right to have categories for "Limburger <1700" and "Limburgers <1811"? Maybe, I think, but than they should also be registered in another category which was valid during the profile's existence on earth, and some of these could only be found in a HRR structure....
Thanks for answers and/or comments!
