I have information to contribute to the profile of Unknown Dorothy. This is what I can add:  Dorothy Egramonday m. John Bibby 17 Oct 1706 in Eccleston with Douglas, Lancashire, England

Source:  England Select Marriages 1538-1973, FHL Film # 93723

These are the sources I am using:

Should I contact one of the pre-1700 projects or know about any style guidelines before proceeding? Thank you!

Thanks for taking on this profile but we have to sometimes be careful of some of the generic databases, like the England Select Marriages as some of the details can come from other sources and not necessarily original records.

In this case it seems that the date of the marriage is incorrect, and the marriage took place on 2 November 1706.

See the FamilySearch database, Lancashire Parish Registers, which has a scan of the original record.  A transcription of the marriage record on the Lancashire Online Parish Clerks website (click on Marriages in index on left of the screen, and then 1701-1735) also has 2 Nov 1706 as the date of the marriage, and additional details that John Bibbi came from Wrightington, and Dorothey Egramonday from Coppel which is also confirmed by scan of the original record.
