I adopted this profile a while back and am searching for any documentation that she was actually a daughter of this Richard. I agree also with other researchers that we have no documentation on her mother's maiden name being Mason (beyond trees). The only record I find for a Rachel Yarbo on family search ,which was listed as a source at my adoption of the profile, is this one below, and this Rachel would have probably been born about 1684-94, NOT 1708 based on her parents ages.   So she would not have been alive in 1800: (Rachel Yarboro: United States Census, 1800, Fairfield, South Carolina, United States). I have a Rachel Ambrose Yarbrough that married Richard III, BIRTH 1685 • Yorkshire, England DEATH 1715 • Virginia, she is profile Ambrose-609.      I have (in trees only ) a daughter of Richard , III and Rachel Ambrose-609 , Rachel Yarbrough and I tend to think that the 1800 census record above may belong with that Rachel . She is Yarbrough-694. I would like to merge this Rachel Yarbrough-689 with Yarbrough-694 , soon Unless someone has some records for this Rachel's existence?

One problem with the merge is that the two Rachels have different parents.  One of the Richards (father of Yarbrough-694) appears to be the son of the other RIchard  (father of Yarbrough-689)   If that is the case then it may be that the two Rachels are aunt and niece ?   This needs to be determined before a merge is done.  We only merge profiles that represent the same person.

Of course, David, I know that we only merge profiles that are the same person.  :)  Point being I adopted the profile the way it is listed.  But, as I have said there is not a single source they had a daughter Rachel that I can find.   And she has the same birth date as the other Rachel.  I would obviously disconnect the incorrect parents first...as I do not believe that this Rachel ever existed .  I was just reaching out to see if someone had something I could not find as a source for these parents having a child Rachel.  Are you seeing my intent better :)
