How to add thumbnail to One Name Study link

+4 votes
Hello, I'm going round in circles, trying things I see in posts and still failing - my brain fog (ME/CFS) is stopping me seeing the wood from the trees:

I have images for my One Name Studies (Micklethwaite and Duckhouse) which I'd like to appear with the link instead of the desert island icon. What have I done wrong?

TIA Andy.

1. Create a new freespace page and call it (for example) Micklethwaite Name Study Info (or Duckhouse Name Study Info).

2.  Add this snippet (and ONLY this snippet; do not link it or anything):

<includeonly>{{#switch: {{{1}}}</includeonly>

3. Replace ImageName-1.png with the image you want to use

Save the new freespace page. Now the new thumbnail will show.

Thanks Ros. Yes, done that, but still no thumbnail (or whatever the official term is). Or at least I thought I'd done that - I may not have, of course, in my fogged state (for example I'd left in the extra new lines that you get from copy/paste - removing them doesn't seem to have sorted it). Cheers, Andy.
I'm not sure this is the problem, but when you created the new 'Info' freespace page, you did not notice that you had named it incorrectly: "MIcklethwaite Name Study Info" i.e. you typed MIcklethwaite instead of Micklethwaite (you put a capital I in there).  The computer is extraordinarily sensitive to upper case and lower case, so you will need to create *another* freespace page, and make sure it says Micklethwaite Name Study Info with no typos in it.  Then merge the two together.  And don't put the green surname tag in there; remember, I said don't link? That's a link (to the genealogy page).

I don't know if the code snippet works on a merged page; should do.
Thanks, ROs  - oops, there it goes again. I'll try that after lunch!
Great, got it working for Duckhouse! Thanks, Ros.

And for Micklethwaite - I tried it before a merge and it worked, so if it's working I'm tempted to leave it unmerged.

Cheers, Andy.
I see you got it done for Micklethwaite as well.  Congrats!
