Advice before editing this pre-1700 Pierce profile?

I have information to contribute to the profile of Joseph Pierce. This is what I can add:

  • Documented birthdate

These are the sources I am using:

  • "Massachusetts Births and Christenings, 1639-1915", database, FamilySearch(https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:F465-JTY : 15 January 2020), Joseph Peirce, 1693.

Should I contact one of the pre-1700 projects or know about any style guidelines before proceeding? Thank you!

Since that's an Unsourced profile and you have a transcription of a primary source, I'd say go for it, and thanks!

Hi hun,

I am the profile manager of that one. I am thankful for that source since it is a pretty good one. Please go ahead and put it on there. Thank you.
