Find Unconnected Profiles Search function has changed

Question

when you select Unconnected Profiles, under the Find menu, and press the green ‘total’, in the top row, in the middle of the page, and search for a specific surname, you are no longer able to sort them by birth date.  that option is still there for your own unconnected profiles.

as a WikiTree Connector that option was very useful, especially trying to put gedcoms back together that splintered on import to WikiTree. or for PM’s who have entered thousands of profiles with same last name from FindAGrave trying to put them together into a tree or connect them helps when you are able to sort the unconnected by birth date.

You might try WikiTree+ as alternative. Example: all unconnected Stevensons.

Or list profiles by gedcom name.

Yes, in general I prefer WikiTree+ over "native" WikiTree functions when querying. More functionality, all in one place.

We opted to leave it out when we made the connection finder update for performance reasons. But if it's useful, we might be able to add it back.

It looks like the Unconnected Category for States / locations has been removed, which was useful when trying to work with them for a state or location
