Napoleon B. Benham enlisted August 16, 1862 in the 106th New York Infantry Co., H. at Lawrence, New York. He was promoted to 2nd Lt. He mustered out June 22, 1865. We need help adding more sources for him. The FindAGrave source shows burial in Iowa. A little help is needed finding his parental lineage

Leila Emma Lyons is definitely the wife. The location is Iowa. The widow pension was a great source !

There is also a photo of N.B. Benham on FamilySearch with some great notes. He was wounded in the lung. 

I added daughter Lela (Benham) Corriston who passed in 1928 also his parents Peleg and Martha

Groom's parents are Napoleon Benham and Agnes Fisk. Bride's parents are John Emlow and Carried Ploof.

Ohh I wonder if this is his FindAGrave nope his birth date is 1870  so our guy is the one buried in Iowa

He is buried at Riverview see Kossuth County Civil War Veterans

Very much so as it matches his birth of 1842. He is listed as 8 years old in this 1850 census

The widow pension matches her as spouse being a Leila Emma (Lyons) Benham. This is definitely the wife

Leila E. Benham on  FindAGrave. I believe her correct spelling is Lelia Emma (Lyon) Benham last name I don’t think has a letter “S”
