Help... I need to change the WIKI profile I just created with the wrong WIKI surname.

Question

Thibodeaux-979 is not a Thibodeaux.  That was his mother's second husband.  Can someone make him a Guidry-XXXX?  I would really appreciate this change.

Edit the profile, scroll down to the last name at birth field and click the edit link beside it.

Then make the change in the page that pops up, and don't forget to save.

The surname in the profile corrent - it's the WIKI PROFILE name.

According to you original question, you created a profile Thibodeaux-979, but it should be Guidry-XXX. Thibodeaux and Guidry are surnames. Melanie gave you the correct advice. On WikiTree we like to call surnames LNAB if that is the confusion.

If he was ever known by his step-father's name, "Thibodeaux" can go in the "Other Last Names" field (which is below the Current last name field).
