Married an Ada Rogers? Looks like he died prior to 1910, but after 1905?  In the 1910 census, Ada James is living in Red Bay, Franklin, Alabama, and says she's a widow: https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:MKQK-426. Their youngest child was born in May of 1906.

Here's Ada's gravesite record: https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/34721495/ada-james

But no record of William's death or burial so far.
