Hi, Kent, and welcome to WikiTree. The Burbank Genealogy appears to be well-written, basically well-sourced and the will is a big help. But, like many books of the era, the sourcing is not always given. On the profile in the book for Daniel it gives the information on both wives, says a marriage intention for first wife exists and there should be a death record for her. I would see if you can find the original primary source documents for those. Second wife Elizabeth is named in the will. These primary source items together would establish that the two profiles are meant to be the same man, Daniel. I would find the docs (ask for assistance here in g2g if needed) and then discuss merging the two profiles with the two profile managers involved. As you probably noticed, the David profile cites as its source an Ancestry tree and nothing more. It's possible there's a transcription of vital records where the name Daniel has been incorrectly transcribed as David creating this extra child. If you find that, make note of it on the profile for others.
