Welcome Doris,

Do you mean you want to know which ID in the GedCom is you? Or link the profile being you to the ID in the Gedcom?

Your profile on Wikitree is the part after /wiki/ in the URL: Hedinger-28 So you match the GedCom ID on that profile.

If you mean something else, please add the contents of your question to the question box. It also helps to add tags in the small box below the question (use edit).

You are Hedinger-28.  Is that what you meant?

Hi Doris, welcome to WikiTree!

It appears you have uploaded a GEDCOM, but have not yet processed it through GEDCOMpare. GEDCOMs are not imported into WikiTree after upload. Instead, you will have to review each of the suggestions (accepting or rejecting as needed), and then adding or editing profiles manually using your GEDCOM data.

As you work through that process, any profiles you create will automatically have your name associated as the Profile Manager, and will also be available in your Watchlist. Any profiles you edit will have your name associated in the change history.

Other than that, there is no need to identify yourself through the GEDCOM or on the profiles themselves.
