Hi Steven...I'm not sure who you are trying to connect them to, I looked at your family tree and figure maybe Arthur Jacklin (as he is your ancestor).  Which of your ancestors do you believe might lead to Ezra and Mathilda?  I'll post a couple of records I find to see if anything rings a bell for you.

i thought there was a connection with mary ann prismall (tuffin )
the connection i thought was because mary ann prismall(tuffin )is the daughter of ezra prismall and mathilda higgs
Understood Steven.  There is some good stuff above.  You can examine the sources and confirm your ancestors, then add them to the wikitree.  At any point, if you are able to find your next ancestor already linked in, you can link to them by adding them as the parent by using their ID#.  It's not dificult or complicated at all.

If I can be of any more help please let me know!

I think you don't know that you must fill-in the blanks in the profiles you create, adding siblings and spouses as you go.  As you do this, eventually you will almost definitely get to a point where the next profile already exists on the Wikitree.  At that point, a connection will be made with other relatives or ancestors that already have profiles.  The Wikitree is relatively new and very few of the actual persons that could be represented here have profiles already created.  So it's up to you to make the ones for yourself and your ancestors and always look for matches until a connection is made.  Hope that answers your question.

I've been doing genealogy for 15 years and I still get brick walls.  It is only by searching that you will make connnections.  I also have names that don't fit but one day they will if I keep searching. And to have a good tree you need proof not assuming.

And a way to find connections on Wikitree is to look for cousins, make a watchlist... use the tools available.
