I've been told a member, John Spencer, has a tree

"that is basically mine."  How do I find him without searching

through all my people?

Thank you

You can find a member by name by entering the name in the search form.  You can sort the resulting list by date of birth and then look for active members among the living.  If you click on that person you will be taken to his or her profile where you can send a private message or click on the
"Family Tree & GenealogyTools" tab to see that person's tree.  There is another menu item if you scroll down from the tree that says "Compact Family Tree" which shows still more generations.

Look at the top of a page (not G2G!) and you will see two small boxes.  That's a very basic search form.
Thank you for responding so quickly.
