Hi,

I'm just now easing into DNA work and was wondering if there was a way to use  a GEDMATCH ID number here to find a profile? It would be very helpful..

Thanks - Lucy

I'm not sure if there is a way to do it in one step, but there is certainly a two-step way to do it. If you do a Google search for the GEDMatch ID on WikiTree, for example using the search "site:wikitree.com A144846", then that will show the profiles on WikiTree that have that ID in the "DNA Connections" section. Opening any of those profiles will then allow you to see the link to the test-taker's WikiTree profile.

Thank you so much Paul!. This is going to be extremely helpful. I have my fingers crossed that my Dad's side have WT accounts. I can't find them anywhere else.
