Died of disease Dec. 26, 1862 at Cumberland, MD and is buried at Antietam National Cemetery in Grave 25/H/812. There is also a stone for him in Hillcrest Cemetery in Lawrenceville (TC, AG, 1860, 1865, cemetery)
