Who can tell us about NSDAR and wikitree [closed]

Well,  the Regent of my Chapter  has  requested  if  wikitree.com  has  requested from NSDAR And  received  permission to even use their name  On our site, let alone  ANY  of their documentation. And  she further said that 

DAR  has a project of their own  for  DAR Patriot's  That will have Descendants  filling out  a TEMPLATE to add   A "Profile"  or whatever they are going to call it.For all of their  Patriots  and  she does not want DAR  to conflict with wikitree.So do we have someone in wikitree that is  Liaison  to the National Society D A R?  If so,  can we request  information or maybe that person  to contact or  help?

Have you looked at the wikitree templates pages for information?  NSSAR Patriot template and DAR source

Are you saying that someone has to get permission to retrieve and use information that is available to the public on their websites?

I know that is what I told her.  But she seems to think a DAR Project is going to conflict with our Patriots Profiles.  But I am looking into that further.  So far all I found as a DAR Member is the DAR Patriot's Records Project..

thank you, I found the Patriot Records Project  I am a Member and can volunteer to  key in data and get the pin.  but that project does not seem to be what I was told about DAR making a TEMPLATE for Members to add to their Patriots.  I will keep looking

Under "Members"  Committee  Projects  I can pull up the DAR  instructions and the form to Volunteer  to Index what they already have in the Library, et al.  This does not, to me seem to  be a problem to anything wikitree  uses in our profiles.  So I believe  we have no conflict..........
