Shared Photo: George Imrie Burns and Family

This Photo is of George Imrie Burns, my husband's great grandfather and his family. They emigrated from Glasgow, Scotland. George arrived in Canada on 14 March 1911 at St John, New Brunswick, his wife and children arrived on 29 September 1912 at Montreal, Quebec. The actual date this photo was taken is unknown, we estimate it to have been taken in the summer of 1913.  Location: Mimico, Ontario. Date: 1913.

Looks like they just got back from church. The building on the left looks like a big church. Very nice family.

I think it is the side of the family home, we have several other photos taken in the back yard of the house, it was a tall, narrow building with wooden siding.
Very nice house, then. I thought only churches could be that tall. :)
Plus they're wearing their Sunday best. :)
