Submarine in Ships category

The category for USS Tiru (SS-416), United States Navy appears in United States Navy Ships, but not in United States Navy Submarines. As I understand the parent categories, United States Navy Ships is for surface craft. As the Tiru was a submarine, its category should be a subcategory of United States Navy Submarines.

I have no idea how my computer misspelled the. Tiru,
After reviewing the photo,  the name use of the letters USS. It looks like a WWll sub with improved tower house,  well if it’s a rose call it a rose.  It’s a submarine. Now some people who write on military equipment never been in the military and do not know the terminology.
