She was Mary "Polly" Washburn, who was supposedly born on 18 July 1795 in Athol, MA, to Robert Washburn and Elizabeth Harwood, who were married in New Salem, MA, on 28 May 1783.

Robert died intestate in 1847 in Hardwick, MA, and was a Revolutionary War Veteran. His wife Elizabeth petitioned for a pension from his service claiming that she still had three children to support: Joseph, Levi and Hannah, and two other children: Polly, who was married to Moses B. Elliott, and Betsey, who was married to Jonathan Rice, neither of whom were living in Massachusetts.  (John Maltby)

I have updated the profile's to reflect this connection.

Thank you for your reply, I appreciate it very much. I already have the sources you mentioned, and have traced the Elliott Line back to the 1600s, but for some reason there doesn't seem to be any information on my great grandmother Mary Washburn's ancestors. My Elliott family bible has an entry saying she was born in Atholl, MA to Joseph and Mary Washburn, but I contact the records office there and they didn't find anything.  If you find something, please let me know! Apparently the Washburn family in England can be traced back to Tancred, a Viking that raided in Normandy with Rollo, the ancestor of William the Conqueror.
