I wanted to share this family photo of James Barrington Davis with the community. Location: Mt. Sterling, Montgomery, Kentucky. Date: October 1826. I could not for the life of me figure out who his four sons were, except for my Ancestor Josiah Davis, and this illuminated everything for me! Notice "Son, John DAVIS, his wife & children." is very succinct while every other relative is very elaborate, this is because John Davis died in 1813 at the Battle of Frenchtown (War of 1812). Another son also died, one Thomas Davis, I suspect he left no heirs.
