Searching For The 'BRINDLE' line

Question

New here, just joined and still a 'Guest.' Thought I'd go in for a penny...Looking for a branch of my family with the surname, 'Brindle,' originally from the Bootle area of Liverpool and Lancashire, UK.   I have some info already and will place it on my tree once confirmed, but would like to find out as much as possible, of course...But in a generic sense as this is my first outing...Looking for Brindle and any communication will be replied to...Thanks.

All I Know is that YSEARCH DNA shows that there is a match between my late husband;s oldest known Ancester, Richard Brindley and a Brindle, the Brindle's relatives were from Lancashire, England. Brindley & Brindle both were a match to a Stanley. I also found the Stanley's in Lancashire ,UK. about 1850's . Passed down stories say Richard Brindley came to America in 1750 as a young stowaway. He resided in Botetourt VA in 1770's Abingdon, Wash CO VA 1780"s,Jeff. Co TN. 1795..Thank you for any information.    hbrindley

Tony, I have an Alice Brindle in my family line.  Born app 1835.  She married William Parkinson in 1854.  Blackburn,, Lancashire, England. Hope this helps.

hi My name is Graham Brindle from Australia..Probably no help to you as near all my Brindles are from Gloucester particularly BIBURY..Though  might have moved from Lancashire or even from the village of Brindle in earlier years  (I have been to Bilbury and found many headstones & large Memorials of about 30 Brindles dating back to late 1700 ..the majority 1800's) Regards & happy new year GB
