I was thinking on a similar line last night but about 'other people' in general. I kept going sideways from one profile connecting marriages and occasionally jumping to a parent or child. So pretty much randomly in the past couple days. I found a lifeguard who died on duty and has a memorial built in his honor on Waikiki beach, a borderline notable architect, a centenarian, and a pioneer photographer.
Among my three hundred or so direct relatives, we apparently grew a lot of crops and from time to time vacationed at the Crossbar Hotel. None of them have 'papers' or 'works' collected by institutions:)..
It is apparent there is a correlation between having wanderlust and either dying young or leaving a mark though.
